Looking for prepaid plan with awesome international calling value? Lebara Mobile has given its prepaid plans a spring makeover: adding more data - and more included international calling options - to its SIM-only deals.
Customers can enjoy international calls to nominated numbers from under $25 per month, thanks to Lebara's Family & Friends inclusions. And if you'd prefer unlimited calls to loved ones across the seas, unrestricted international calling to selected countries starts from just $29.90 per recharge.
Lebara's new plans are as follows:
Mini Mega Plan: $24.90 per recharge
- 2GB of 4G data
- Up to 1000 minutes of international calls to three registered Family & Friends numbers in Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, United Kingdom, and United States.
National Plan: $29.90 per recharge
- 5GB of 4G data
- Unlimited standard international calls to 12 selected countries
- $5 International Call Credit (up to 500 minutes)
- Unlimited calls to three registered Family & Friends numbers in India
Mega Plan: $39.90 per recharge
- 10GB of 4G data
- Unlimited standard international calls to 15 selected countries
- $10 International Call Credit (up to 1000 minutes)
- Unlimited calls to three registered Family & Friends numbers in India
Unlimited Plan: $49.90 per recharge
- 14GB of 4G data
- Unlimited standard international calls to 50 selected countries
- $10 International Call Credit (up to 1000 minutes)
- Unlimited calls to three registered Family & Friends numbers in Pakistan and Bangladesh
All of Lebara's 30-day prepaid plans come with unlimited standard national calls and SMS. Excess data is charged at a rate of $0.02 per megabyte, although customers can add an optional 30-day Data Pack to their plan at any time (see below for more details).
Add-on packs and bonus data
If you'd like to add extras on to your 30-day prepaid plan, you can buy data and international calling packs whenever required. Each pack features a 30-day expiry, and can be added to your plan via SMS.
- Data 5: 500MB of data for $5
- Data 10: 1.5GB of data for $10
- Data 25: 5GB of data for $25
- International calls: $6 of call credit for $5
In addition to revamping prepaid options, Lebara will also offer a 5GB bonus to auto-recharge customers between now and October 31. Sign up to automatically recharge your plan, and you'll get an extra 5GB of data each time your plan renews from now through to the end of October.
Pay-as-you-go calling
If you'd prefer a little more flexibility, don't use your phone that often, or don't want to have to recharge every 30 days, Lebara's pay-as-you-go plan now features a 365-day expiry.
You can choose from $10, $20, $30 or $50 recharge amounts, with rates as follows:
- Standard national calls: $0.15 per minute + $0.29 flagfall
- Standard international calls: from $0.01 per minutes + $0.29 flagfall
- Data: $0.02 per megabyte
