As with Vodafone's SIM-only plans, plans with phones are also contract-free, which means you can leave at any time. You'll just need to pay out the remaining value on your phone.
Vodafone offers the choice to pay off your phone over 24 or 36 months, which can certainly help if you want a shiny new Samsung or iPhone but are operating on a budget.
Just like the Vodafone's SIM-only plans, device plans come are free from excess data charges. If you go over your monthly cap, your data speeds will simply be slowed to 2Mbps or 10Mbps, depending on your plan.
The exception is Vodafone's unlimited data mobile plan offering truly unlimited data. The plan will constantly deliver the maximum network speeds available at the time for $85 per month. The plan is available as a SIM-only option or can be paired with a new phone.
Vodafone coverage
Vodafone gets a bad rap sometimes in terms of their perceived value and coverage, but Vodafone actually covers 96% of the Australian population which is just marginally less than Optus.
