Data sharing
If you have multiple Optus Choice Plus month-to-month SIM-only plans on the same account, you can share all of the data from these plans together across services. This is great for families who might have a single high-data plan and several lower cost plans sharing the data pool. It is also ideal if you use multiple internet devices, like phones, tablets, or portable modems.
International phone calls
Optus is one of the more generous providers for anyone who needs international phone calls as part of their phone plan. Most Optus phone plans include at unlimited standard international Talk and Text from Australia to 35 destinations worldwide.
Endless data
Optus offers unlimited data at capped speeds of 1.5Mbps to ensure you don't get overcharged when you reach your limit. Unlike the other telcos, Optus has a few other options for the data-hungry — you can add a $5 unlimited data add-on which gives you unlimited mobile data on the entire 4G and 5G network for 24 hours, or you can simply top up your data for the remainder of the month for a nominal fee.
International roaming
If you have an Optus SIM-only plan, you can enjoy the telco's international roaming option without changing SIMs. For just $5 per day you'll get 5GB of data and unlimited standard Talk and Text in over 100 Zone 1 destinations. For context, Zone 1 includes large parts of Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe.

If you want to access live EPL matches, news, on demand replays and over 80 workouts through Optus Fitness then Optus Sport is a great place to start. Pricing differs, however, whether you're an Optus postpaid customer or not.
A standard Optus Sport monthly plan will set non-customers back $24.99 per month, while customers can score a monthly subscription for just $9.99 per month. Choosing to pay on an annual subscription basis will bring the cost down to an average of around $19 per month ($229 per year). You can cancel your subscription to Optus Sport at any point and you will only be charged for the remainder of the subscription period.
