Your favourite band may not ever make it to Perth, but the NBN is here. Officially the NBN rollout in Perth and the rest of the nation was completed at the end of 2020. This means faster broadband is available for all of Perth's residents and businesses. FTTP upgrades in Western Australian

As part of a new initiative, NBN Co is working toward the goal of enabling 90% of Australian homes and businesses to get gigabit NBN speeds by 2025. A large part of this work will involve allowing customers who currently have a Fibre to the Node or Fibre to the Curb NBN connection to upgrade to Fibre to the Premises, for free. The backend work necessary for these upgrades has already begun, with NBN Co and some areas now already eligible to upgrade.
