Anula is our Social Media Specialist and a Reviewer of all-things telco and consumer technology. She knows more than anyone ever should about phone and internet plans, and takes actual joy in breaking down, and spelling out the confusing parts so that people can make better choices.

Apart from putting serious words on the internet, Anula creates social-first content, and researches by getting lost in TikTok for hours on end.

If she isn't in front of her computer, you'll find Anula drawing somewhere cozy, pretending that she knows how to use power tools in the yard, or playing with her dog with a strong martini in one hand.

Experience

Since entering the industry in 2020, Anula has been a finalist for six Australian IT Journalism Awards (aka. The Lizzies), including Best New Journalist, Best Telecommunications Journalist, Best Technology Reviewer, and Best Consumer Tech Journalist. Her social-first content for WhistleOut has also been nominated as a finalist for Best Short Form Content.

Education

Anula graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Communications, and has a self-appointed PHD in puns.
